About KAZNA
Kazna Asker is a developing brand that uses graphics and fashion to build community.
Kazna won the Debut Talent prize at Fashion Trust Arabia, representing her home country Yemen. She is currently part of BFC NEWGEN and has presented during London Fashion Week for two seasons. Her work combines traditional Middle - Eastern fabrics with nylon tracksuits and outerwear. All designed and hand-sewn by herself creating one of one pieces.
Asker graduated from Central Saint Martin’s becoming the first designer to showcase a Hijabi collection at the CSM’s MA Fashion show 22'. She was also featured in the Kurt Geiger’s People Empowerment Campaign to represent Kindness in which her designs were featured on billboards across Dubai.

I worked with Kazna to create 'Fight for Me, Sheffield,' a short film set to premiere at London Fashion Week. The challenge was to create a campaign, highlighting the often-overlooked vibrancy of Sheffield, a city known for its nature but not always recognized for the strength and dedication of its local communities.
The film aimed to shed light on the importance of education, local businesses, and the unwavering spirit of the people in Sheffield, particularly in advocating for young people.

To tackle this, we focused on authentic storytelling, featuring heartfelt interviews with teachers, community leaders, activists, and local business owners—all of whom were born and raised in Sheffield.
Through powerful visuals and narratives, we emphasized the purity of their intentions and the relentless efforts they make daily for the betterment of their city.
My role involved overseeing the film's digital marketing strategy, ensuring it resonated with audiences and built anticipation for its premiere at London Fashion Week.
Outcome
'Fight for Me, Sheffield' successfully brought attention to the city's unique charm and the dedication of its communities.
The film resonated deeply with viewers, elevating the conversation around local businesses and education while positioning Kazna as a powerful storyteller at London Fashion Week.
This project not only showcased the spirit of Sheffield but also strengthened Kazna's brand as one that values community, authenticity, and social impact.
